Since
1930, KEYSTONE CAP COMPANY has
been producing metal closures for the container industry. Our tooling
is designed to meet G.C.M.I Standards. We offer you
a structurally sound and carefully crafted closure to meet your needs
and to work well with your packaging equipment. Using the technology
developed by our founder which gave our cap its outstanding reputation,
we continue to produce our caps based on Leo Tragesser's original
design and engineering. This is the secret to the technical excellence
of our product.
|
From
a sheet of coated tinplate, we punch out caps that when threaded and
lined will have a job to do. They will fit on a container of product
to seal, protect, and also enhance. The
production of the Keystone Cap is unique in today's manufacturing
community because attention to detail and to customer services characterize
it.
|
Scrutinizing
our caps as they move through the plant, our employees take pride,
and satisfaction in knowing they have made an exemplary product, and
that focus defines our product.
| From
the slitting of the coated sheet of tinplate to the final lining process,
each cap is stamped out by a punch press that is powered by a large
motor on an overhead line shaft. The shells are then knurled, threaded
and rolled by a simple threader, then sent to the liner turntable
to be lined. Watchful eyes make sure each cap is carefully manufactured
to perform its function on the jar it will seal. | |
